I would think he'd learn his lesson from the Everette Brown and Armanti Edwards trades. I'd be pissed if he made a dumb ass trade like that this year.

Would be kinda hard to get back into midfirst round without a second rounder also. But I expect him to try and get into second round, perhaps late first round. Depends on who you get, since you would be giving up in most cases the 2012 first rounder. I think even with Luck we would still be in the 1-15 range of the draft so I would say no.

I think this year we stick to our guns, particularly because half the team isn't resigned so we don't even know the makeup of our team yet.

I think I'd be more infuriated if we traded next years first for a second round this year.

I was actually thinking about this earlier today. I would that if we got Luck with the first pick… Then if someone like the TE from ND Kyle Rudolph fell to the 2nd round I would gladly trade our 1st round pick next year. If we resign our offensive players we would be pretty set on offense then for the future. Maybe add a Vet WR at some point in time… The going forward we can build up our defense and just plug holes that may come up on the offense.

I think this would be more likely if our new o or d coordinators were going in a different direction philosophy wise and needed more bodies to speed up the transition.
