If he is coming out, you would only trade that pick for a top flight QB that is already in a long term contract.

If he is not coming out, you could trade that pick for jack poo, so it doesn't matter.

Uhm that depends on whether we can get Luck. Then yeah that would be great to have another top pick in addition to Luck this year, and just start picking beginning in round 2 next year.

I would be ok with that. If we can get Luck and give up our first round pick next year to go ahead and get Green this year, then f**k YES!

would rather them try and turn our 3rd round pick this season into a 2nd rounder in the 2012 draft. would probably be pretty easy considering it's a high 3rd rounder. we will have two 3rd rounders thanks to Peppers, and with an impending lockout it might not be a bad idea.

completely depends on who is available when we're picking, though. just would like to be the one owning someone else in a trade for once lol

Oh, you worded it fine. I was just kind of thrown off by other people's comments. I think this is a very good year for lineman, and I don't think we'll have a top ten pick next year, so I would be pretty cool with it. It would matter who we get (say a Quinn vs. a Aldon Smith), but if the values ok I would be happy.

What would excite the fanbase like two first round picks?
