No hirings yet, but one interview confirmed.

In his article about Peppers taking his linemates to the Pro Bowl (link) Gantt confirms that the Panthers have talked to former Browns LB coach and old Fox associate Mike Haluchak.

The article also states that the process is taking longer than the panthers wanted, so it apparently isn't just that they're being tight lipped.

Joke taken, but Haluchak was the Giants LB coach during Fox's run as their DC.

FYI: His DB coach was Johnnie Lynn and his line coach was Denny Marcin.

I can't be the only one bothered by this huge interest in the Browns staff.

Then again, Davidson isn't too bad, and hopefully the QB coach will be good.

To me it isn't a question of what staff they were on ..it's because they know each other or worked with each other in a similar system that they consider first. There are good teams with bad or nothing type coaches on staff and vice versa.

True but the Browns former GM(who was a retard) may have put restrictions on them, becaus I don't know if anyone else has noticed we are going after every former Browns coach except Romeo Crennell. Maybe the Panthers organization knows something we don't.

Yea, I am just making conversation because there is nothing to talk about and its been boring.

I have some friends from Ohio down here and they pretty much say that the upper management for the Browns is garbage. Their old GM was terrible, but they say that normally that franchise doesn't really like to spend money.(or are pretty bad with the money they do spend)

The Browns aren't the best ran team for sure.

The Browns likely won't have much success until they have a new owner, just like it is with the Raiders.

The Panthers front office wants to model the team after the Steelers, so they gather as many Browns coaches as possible in the process.

How about we go after someone from the old Browns organization. It seems they resemble the Steelers more than any other team in the league.
