Having Rivera as HC is good news, but I am more worried about his staff. Any OC can do a better job than Davidson, but does he have enough quallity surrounding him to get his system in place effectively? How much of a role will he have in our offense and can he handle decisions on that side of the ball? I don't doubt his defensive prowess, but we are hiring him as a head coach, not a DC. Who can he bring in that is qualified enough to step into his shoes on Defense?

If Rob Ryan and Ron Rivera are both hired I will be surprised and upbeat. That would be big news for our defense. The thing that worries me is that we were promised big on the offensive side of the ball already. Hopefully that is the case and JR is planning on overcompensating this season.
