For those worried about Fairleys dirty play

Take a note when watching Suh try and rip Delhommes head from his neck...Its called intensity and is needed. I want a dirty player up the middle.

After having reviewed more footage on YouTube, the concerns for me are piling up about this guy. There's a lot of frustration and simple cheap shots that this guy has done outright.

I will have to trust the front office to make the right decision on this guy, but my gut tells me more and more that this guy has diva and dirty written all over him.

I might consider him if we trade down from #1. Otherwise, I am increasingly thinking AJ Green with the footage I have seen.

Care to give us some footage of what you have seen? I do not have a problem with a player having a mean streak, however it's the lack of discipline I would be more concerned about.

If the guy does not have discipline that could easily flow into his off field behaviour. Fairley was kinda off the radar until this year, possibly suggesting he matured physically?

I am just cautious we get someone who will not put the hours in off the field as well.

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
