No surprise here, thanks for the link. I think this guy will be our offensive coordinator, he will have a lot of work to do but lets hope he isn't going to be another Jeff Davidson.

It says that the Dolphins are also trying to get this guy but I think we have an advantage with Rivera as our head coach. The Dolphins might have more problems than us if Brown leaves.

Will he be running the same offense that the Chargers ran this year? If so it could be really exciting, but first we would have to find a decent QB... T.J. Yates! lol I kid I kid.

yeah :) Im pretty sure he will run Chargers offense ...here in carolina :)

He may be ending up here because of Rivera

LOL @ TJ Yates.

I would like to see us get Orton or McNabb McNabb has been a great leader to young Qbs and we need someone who can help groom Clausen. Doesn't the Chargers offense require a qb with a good arm? I haven't watched too many Chargers game but I remember seeing a lot of long passes thrown. One problem with us and the SD offense is that SD has a lot of big WRs and TE, we don't have the size that SD has at WR so that might be a problem.

Im a Panther n charger fan .... i seen most of there game....and you make a point there with getting a good QB

But SD offense is like spreading the ball around and getting it out quick

but for that to happen we NEED good OL

We do have a good O-Line. They got off to a very slow start and the injury to Otah didn't help but they got it going near the end of the season. I think Schwartz is a very servicable RG but we may need to look for a true starter in the draft or free agency.

    • Thin sliced roast beef, provolone, and roasted bell peppers on a toasted sub roll.  At least one thing is going right today. I don't trust anyone who's never put Bugles on their fingertips to make witch fingers.
    • But yeh,  Bryce is the only problem on this sorry excuse of a team. You could put Tom Brady on this team and we would still suck . Worst part is Tepper and his various band of clowns have been trying to build a competitive team for 7 freaking years and are no closer now than when it all started.
    • Regardless of the trade and where he was picked, Bryce actively created deception. He wore a hoodie to the combine and was 15 lbs heavier because he packed on water weight because he didnt weigh near 200 lbs. He didn't participate in drills in a wide open 4 way, really 3, QB bid. Then there was all this hype over the S2 test that he had been practicing that we've never heard about in the draft process since. Does anyone think it was an accident Stroud's score on the S2 was released? Stroud said forget the score, watch his tape. Wonder why. There was a whole bunch of shady poo going on surrounding Bryce pre draft, and I for one, find it all a little too convenient.  Just my opinion, but he was a used car salesman that used some armor all and a wash n wax and maybe a set of white walls then schmoozed his way at dinner with Dave and Nicole and sold them that he was a super savant.  There was a whole lot of BS swirling around the BY hype train and he was a full fledged participant. Frank didn't want Bryce, he wanted Stroud. A new head coach does not pick a QB he has to go design a brand new offense around unless that guy is a generationaltalent, which Bryce was most definitely not. He picks the guy that best fits what he does and that was Stroud. This was Dave and Nicole's pick and they fuged this team like they've done over and over again since they've been here. They fell for use car salesman Rhule, then used car salesman Bryce and company. And the fans got stuck with the 4 years of payments on a car less reliable than Al Bundy's Dodge.
