Cat....do you have a controlling wife that you need to vent about?

haha actually I do!!! Its the most ridiculous thing in the world.

My husbands best friend for life is married and his wife will not let him be around me unless she is there. Its been and on and off kind of thing for years, where sometimes she doesn't mind him being around me and other times she does. She is very fat and unattractive (just being honest) and has a very low self esteem. Plus she is very religious and caught her husband looking at porn which she has a big problem with and i think it destroyed the tiny bit of self confidence she had left. Ever since then she doesn't let him go to the beach, he can't watch TV shows without her or one of her gfs previewing it to be sure there is nothing sexual in it. Its the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. And he seems pretty damn miserable

Just last night my mom spontaneously offered to take care of my kid so we had a baby sitter. Well my hubby had tentative plans with his best friend for dinner and hang out time. My hubby found out I was free and wanted me to join them for dinner but his buddy had to back out because his wife doesn't let be around me.

So how fuged up is that!

WOW that is ridiculous. sounds like that lady has some SERIOUS trust issues. If he has never cheated before, then she needs to get over it because at some point hes going to realize its not worth all that bullshit if there is no reason for her to be worried.

As far as her weight, tell her fatass to get on the treadmill and maybe she wont feel so insecure around you. I mean, ur pretty skinny. Even I would feel somewhat round around you, but thats no reason to ruin the relationship between ur hubby and hers.

Sounds like at some point he needs to put his foot down and say look, I have never done anything to make you think I would deviate, so what is the problem? Im gonna go out with Cat and (cats hubby) and thats the end of it dammit! Why doesnt she just come out with you guys together? Then maybe she would feel more comfortable.

The internet porn thing is ridiculous. If ur not givin it to him, hes either gonna give it to himself, or find some other way to get it! Shes lucky he went that route and not the other.

That sucks buddy Im sorry. I would never be able to chill with someone like that. I suppose its worth it if its for ur hubby and he loves his buddy.

How about when I find a boyfriend, we can go on a double date. I wont give you a hard time :)

      Gonna be interesting to watch. All reporting indicates he's gonna be out. From what I'm hearing he's out. The interesting part will be what happens next. The job has been staying within the "family" since Dean retired. But there's no one within the family that makes any sense at all right now. They'll have to go outside the family to hire a coach that's likely to be successful and tension between the school and the basketball family is already high right now with this plot to move the arena to Carolina North because the folks within the basketball family want it to stay at the Dean Dome and they feel misled because they feel like there was never any real consideration of revamping the Dean Dome and this whole evaluation process was just meant to make it look like that was being considered. The best outcome here IMO is that we hire a great coach from outside the family and we revamp the Dean Dome as an olive branch to the family. But the powers that be REALLY want a new arena at Carolina North.
