Well it is true.

It's called being realistic and that's all I am being. Realistic.

But you found a girl without having to do that, and I'd be willing to bet she's a much better catch than any girl who'd look the other way because of your weight.

I'm just speaking from experience. I decided at 22, that after I had been put through hell and back with women, that if I didn't find a woman who loved me for all of who I was, without trying to change me in any way, that I'd just never get married.

As fate would have it I met her 5 years later and she's carrying my 2nd child and she's amazing, I couldn't be happier.

That's a valid point but to me it's irrelevant. You shouldn't have to change who you are just to find someone, that's when settling happens and it rarely ends well.it's the same thing if someone told you to lose weight or expect to be dateless.

it does take longer to find people since you're searching for such a specialized personality, but that's ok if you ask me.

I certainly would never say that one should give up something like smoking pot to please their partner. But no matter who you eventually find, you are always going to have to make some changes and accomodations to have a good relationship. BTW, I would hate to think that smoking pot, or drinking or anything like that defines who I am.

True. In the context as it applies to boo though she's just looking to date, not marry, and she should be able to be a pot smoker without that affecting dating prospects.
