A New QB Name to add into the mix: Colin Kaepernick

Unfortunately he's a project that needs to develop into an NFL system and we can't do that. The guy is making all the throws at the senior bowl but he's coming out of the Pistol Offense so he needs to sit at least a year behind a vet with a coaching staff that can mold him into an NFL QB.

The guy is shaping up to be a great prospect and I don't see him dropping out of the 2nd round.

Pretty much the same feeling as other prospects.

In a different year, with a different situation, I'd probably be on board.

The way things are now, I'm only interested in veteran QBs. Don't want any ut of the draft.

I'm interested in a vet (Bulger, Volek), but with Clausen here still and Pike probably going to the practice squad why not take a shot if a Kaepernick, McElroy, & Dalton type is available in the 4th-5th rounds. You never know where you find those diamonds in the rough and I'm thinking a QB in this draft will in fact be one. This is a given considering the amount of quarterbacks entering the draft without really a top looking guy at the moment.

I mean Bulger himslef was the 168th player picked in his draft.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
