I am new to the board and a big Panther Fan and excited about discussing the Panthers here. With that said I saw something this morning I wanted to discuss. I know alot of folks are hoping we can trade down and acquire picks if we are fortunate enough to find a trade partner but according to Al Fronczak with East Coast Sports News, NFL teams won't be allowed to trade draft picks during the 2011 NFL Draft, if an agreement isn't reached on the current CBA. Anyone know anything about this? If already discussed forgive me.

Can't trade players for picks...but can trade picks for picks.

It should be noted that you can also trade picks for chewing gum, which should make Fox very happy.
