About to buy a PS3, recommend me some games!

Don't be that way on the Internet because you got a few guys like me who will throw half truths out there and keep you going for days, I had one with PSC that was pretty funny, went on for like 100 plus posts over 3 days and got very retarded and I think I pissed him off a little because he pretty much shadowed me for 2-3 months on here afterwards.

I'll just say I had no problems with Xbox games and enjoyed it, but the fact it breaks ALL THE TIME puts it a notch below PS3 on that alone. I haven't gotten my PS3 yet(getting it on Friday) so I can't comment on games, but if it lasts more than a year it'll already be better than the xbox.

Do you have it in a cabinet or maybe on carpet? Where is the power brick? I don't understand how you can have such bad luck. I guess its possible, but you might want to take a look at your setup. If it is your setup, take my advice and try to find an older model PS3. I accidentally left mine on in a closed cabinet overnight. It got so hot that it melted some of the finish inside the cabinet. But the console still runs like a champ.

I played Xbox mainly cause everyone I know does and I like their online stability for the most part. The hardware issue is a pain though. Because of that, when the next gen of consoles comes out I'm going to look very seriously at picking up a PS4 (or w/e it's called).
