Panthers biggest offseason need

I think the fact they use ActiveX based Multimedia says it all. Whoever structurally made the website is living in the past and they need to find a new webdesigner than knows what the hell they're doing.

Amen!!! It's time for them to implement some simple Flash-based video. It isn't that hard.

I agree with others have said. The Panthers organization is pretty low key with releasing non-game related material (random interviews, etc). That's exactly why you see nothing about Peppers and the debacle on the front page. When he is traded/released, we'll see a small article about it.

I do think the website needs a revamping though. They need to update their franchise records/stats on a weekly basis during the regular season. Hell, give it to me and I'll do it for $5/hr.

Definitely one of the worst out there. Also, many link you to team forums...but not panthers.com.

Didn't we used to have official forums? I think they eventually took them down due to hissy-fits and general immaturity.

Anyway, that was slightly off-topic.

Well many of the "Official NFL" sites have a link to a message board. Like, in Atlanta for example, it leads to falcon.life or whatever it is. Zod should get a link on panthers.com that leads here. Then again, isn't there another fairly large Panthers board? I don't know how the web guys get the hook up with the official NFL sites. But whenever I go to rag on a team we play, I always goto nfl.com, then to that team's site, then to the message board it leads me to.

No doubt...the video format is utter sh*te. Worst I have ever encountered on an NFL website. I can't even play them in Firefox.

Exactly! If they started using Flash, I'd be on their website a LOT more, checking out the post-game stuff, interviews, etc. I am not dealing with their junky-ass ActiveX stuff though.
