it pains me whenever Dalton QB's....How many games has he won for us? One?

The Raiders win was nice and it was all downhill from there. But I mean objectively speaking. Even Kyle Allen had more impressive wins than that. And that isn't saying much either.

I mean, it's pretty laughable to talk about Allen/Heinecke in "growth."

As for Hooker....lol. I supposed Matt Corral is a "growth" candidate too.

Pick someone who can actually play the game. That's Dalton.

Define play the game.

Is that sacking ones self and throwing awful picks? Or?

Because you know we can hire anyone off the street for that just saying.

I would be willing to debate the person that said plumber is better...

I have seen lawn gnomes with more football talent than plumber...sometimes I felt he was actively trying to be bad at the game of football..like he had a bet with some other backup, who can do the dumbest thing and not get cut...like "hey I'm going out there today with my helmet on backwards and I'm going to try to complete a forward pass with a ham sandwich

Hooker played worse this preseason with better players around him.

How is that even possible...there were times when I expected plumber to burst into flames or get sucked into some kind of vortex of bad football play and absolute suckage...or at least turn and look into the camera and yell "gotcha...I just punked the whole 3rd string...you have to actively try to be this bad"

Somehow he got worse from last offseason where he was fairly middling.

I have to see this...I think plumber went to the Chris Weinky school of football...the "try as hard as I can and still only win 2 games in 2 years" kinda play

Meh Dalton looks washed. He was good for at least 1 entertaining game a year but Im not sure he even has one of those left at this point. His game style and old age hasn't been a good combo IMO.

Not going to compare him to Hooker because Hooker is another longshot to ever be worth a #2 spot. At least he isn't Plummer I guess. Young better stay healthy or they could go backwards in wins with those 2 options this year.

I agree, after watching plumber fail to complete 3 passes in a row to 3 wide open receivers in that 2nd pre season game...I decided right then we better never have to count on plumber for anything more than going to get the morning doughnuts...and I bet he would still fumble that

I mean, if we are lucky, none of us ever sees the third string QB. Ever.

He is washed in terms of being a regular starter but definitely not in terms of being a backup QB.

What does he bring to the table at this point beyond presnap reading and handing off? His arm is obviously tired.

What ever happened to the days when we had really good backups...Berline came off the bench throwing dimes...and Anderson was fantastic...now we have a couple chuckle heads that I'm not even sure they know what sport they are playing..(and yes I know Berline was about as moble as a geriatric star fish...but man what a arm)
