Scott Fowler on worse loss

We have been here before haven’t we.   Even jimmy clausen could do a qb sneak

I remember driving to Charlotte from Raleigh when clausen was playing and leaving to drive back to Raleigh at halftime as they couldn’t get a first down. A wasted season

From a qb perspective,  panthers are here again

it is time to cut bait.  Wait until the rams, Bucs, Seahawks, and 49ers get ahold of them

…each of those teams, better coaches, and infinitely better QBs

I get to pay top dollar for 2 night's in an expensive hotel and for overpriced tickets to sit in the lower bowl and watch the team get their ass drug up and down the field up close and personal. I'm going to make sure they hear my displeasure with this team.

Friend. Totally understand

had psls for 23 years

moved in 2023 and had one year left on my contract and through some miracle, unloaded it

now, i watch them on Sunday ticket   Turn the channel when they suck. No lines for better booze and cleaner bathrooms  and no 85 to 40 traffic nightmares back to Raleigh

I've switched to watching nfl gameday live on nfl network. They are live streaming scoring highlights in every game as they happen and score updates. No need to sit through the entire game when you can follow the score and keep up with other games as well. Its the first time in my 30 years of following this team that I intentionally miss the games.

Completely understandable. had PSLs for about 10 years when I lived closer. Now I just go to a couple of games per season because it’s a 2 day thing anytime I go unless I want to rush there or fight traffic out of Charlotte.

Im going to the Tampa game because I’m taking a friend of mine who has never been before. I’m almost dreading it tbh.

If he thinks Bryce is throwing the ball great, he can leave next year along with him.

He needs to man the fug up and say that to compete week in and week out he needs to see more from his QB. Coddling him like he's a toddler is a disservice to the entire team.

I do think the ball he threw to Taylor for the INT was a tight spiral that hit him perfectly in stride -I bet the Saints would confirm that he threw that one great.

The Tampa game was going to be the first game my son and I attended together. He just became a Panthers fan over the last couple of seasons. He too fell for the Young resurrection last season and thought things could be better. He went to the game yesterday and was texting me about it. I felt so bad for him but I tried to warn him. He made a rookie mistake so I cut him a little slack after the game.

    • It is a tough decision.  There is another factor.  Is he in game shape?  A tired Hunt is not better than an "in-shape" Corbett.  When coming off an injury, it is natural to want to protect the injured area, even if it is completely healed.  This can cause you to contort your body for no reason, lose fundamentals, and it could lead to other injuries.  For example, I had a knee in high school that required getting taped.  That made me aware of the knee (not used to tape on my knee) and I pulled my groin (favoring or dragging the leg with the tape).  The trainer explained the groin injury the way I do here--but scared money makes no money.  If he is cleared to play, he is cleared to play.  Watch him, rotate him in for a series, etc.  Specifically, I would want to watch the matchup--who is winning more--Corbett or Hunt?  How is the defense reacting (if at all) to Hunt being in?  Etc.
    • Shannon was sued for $50 million (settled out of court, I believe) for forcing sex on his girlfriend during a two-year relationship.  He denies it, but ESPN let him go last April.  Chad Johnson's wife filed a police report because he head-butted her in a car and was put on probation. I had to google it.  I watched the Ray Rice video and when you see it, you realize just how vile and cowardly abusing a woman really is.  But for the same point Aussie tried to make, these women are defenseless, and being phyiscally bigger and stronger does not validate your actions.   I can't even stand to watch Steve Smith.  I can't normalize this kind of behavior--again, I do not think R-P had that in mind when he posted this.  When the reason was exposed, we should realize that we are talking life (quality of) and death (in some cases) here.
    • I can respect the fact that we should not glorify or normalize men who have a history of beating women.  I do not think anyone was thinking of that when they posted this, but if head-butting your wife and unconsensual sex (rape) is something you cannot overlook, I agree with that.  I think they are both half-crazed attention hounds regardless of their pasts.
