Despite missing half of their D corps for the majority of the season so far the Canes hold the best record in the easter conference....  Jaccob Slavin finally made his return,

BRANDON BUSSI HAS BEEN PHENOMENAL

Seth Jarvis is pacing on being our first 45+ goal scorer since Jordan Staal, Elhers has broken out of the new team slump (nearly PPG after taking six games to get his first)

NIKISHIN is pacing an 11 goal 40 point rookie season with just third pairing minutes.

Our HOME/ROAD SPLITS have reset from last year and we actually have a slightly better road record than home with one less loss.

Honestly as long as one of Freddie/kooch can get their head out of their asses, things look great this season.

With goalie “cross our fingers” being solved, they can focus on that 2C or 1C that is sorely missed.

Dude your 1C crap is stupid.....

Aho isn't a top 10 Center but he is absolutely a 1C.....  somewhere around the Point/Larkin level 13th-17th best....  with the current amount of NHL teams most teams are lucky to have one C in the top 40.....  2C I agree with.... 100%  preferably a guy with grit and playmaking ability.

There absolutely isn't anyone close to being available better than Aho....

Tage Thompson is better than Aho. If the red wings would suck a little, Dylan Larkin is better. I love Aho but a 65 point guy as you top Center is one of the reason the team flames in the playoffs. I’m saying, why stop at 2C if you can get a 1?

that’s like saying, Tulsky shouldn’t go after Quinn Hughes because they have Slavin. Guaranteed Tulsky is looking for one. But at minimum, they need a big 2C that can score.

Aho hasnt been been a 65 point guy since his rookie year (unless of course you you are counting the covid seasons which he was ppg....

AHO had averaged 78.5 gp with 81.5 points the last two years, your statement is blatantly false.

Lol Your complaining about points mentioning Tage Thomson who has *checks* one more point than Aho in 2 more games.

Thats not even touching the issue that hes horrific defensively.... and the Sabres have repeatedly turned down calls.

Last night is why I don’t think Aho is playing like a 1C. And for most of the year. SeaBass would thrive on a 2nd line. Sure the two previous games were good for him. But aho isn’t carrying this team. And truthfully, this team would be miles better if aho was better.   Your best player shouldn’t be so far down in points and have game(s) where he disappears

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
