It'll be closed in all the games that make cold weather outdoor locations interesting so it might as well just be a dome. A dome in Denver equals a kickers dream.

Yeah, I was agreeing with you.

It sucks, because snow games always make for great tv.

Super Bowls should be on a rotation around the league. If cities don’t have the infrastructure there is plenty of time for them to plan ahead and figure it out or the NFL can forfeit their turn.

I think open air should be the only design. Embrace whatever your cities climate is. Minnesota= Snow and Misery, Miami= Best weather in the country other than the random thunderstorms

I wouldn't call it a set rotation, but there is a list of cities/venues that the game is assigned to, more frequently than others. New Orleans, Santa Clara, Los Angeles, Houston, Phoenix, Miami and Tampa.

Las Vegas will join that list as well.

Atlanta will host it's 4th Superbowl, coinciding with their newer stadium opening, and I would not be surprised if they become a more frequent host now.

Jacksonville has had 1 game, and while they did not have the required hotel space, they docked cruise ships in the port to serve as floating hotels. The league has not awarded them with another game as it was not an ideal solution.

Dallas was awarded the game when they opened their new stadium and suffered an ice storm and some logistical/infrastructure problems and the game has not returned.

Same here.  But you gotta love the games that the weather plays a part.

Our game against the Jaguars in the monsoon was epic.

Two games moments that forever live in mind:

I can't remember who we were playing but I vividly remember JStew gliding all over the field.

The other one was against the Saints at BOA in the rain... where Luke was tackling everything moving. The rain was looking like waterfalls pouring out of the drains during the broadcast.

Still not a fan of too much wind tho.

On the one hand I think most Chiefs fans are insufferable.

On the other hand. What amounts to free handouts for Billionaires (while feeding the poor is a big problem for some) at the expense of taxpayers while said taxpayers have no level of ownership of the venue is disgusting. And the fact it is still a discussion is why capitalism is where it is to the point we live in a landscape out of something from a dystopia film now. Meanwhile there is a man who coined the term "trickle down economics" that we have to thank for all this while he is still revered by some for whatever warped reasoning.
