At the time there was no way to make that trade. 3 1sts 3 2nds plus players possibly with what he wanted paid and he wanted the team to build around him. 

Im sure Baltimore would ask a small fortune again, but you don't trade away franchise QBs away unless there's some serious issues.

Shough was a second rounder. We don’t know what he is but he looks like some very good potential. And the price allows you to indulge without a ton of loss if you are wrong. 

I am really against trading future 1st round picks, and exponentially so when talking multiples. I can’t sign off on some mega deal for a vet in the midst of a bad relationship. No matter his talent two years ago.

That was only a year and a half ago, and the nagging injuries are starting to keep him out longer, he's already nearing the end of his shelf life.
