No Newton, No Fairley

Recommended Posts

Both Newton and Fairley went to Junior College, both have off the field problems, which makes me question both their work ethic and character. We all remember the last player that had concerns with work ethic and off the field issues:

I honestly don't want another one of these.... Is the potential there for both players? Yes. Is the risk of being a one year wonder/future bust there for both players? Absolutely.

I say no.

This is new and refreshing, thanks for posting.

Jarrett developed laziness after he was drafted. He was touted as a pretty refined product coming out in the draft and for what he was supposed to be he was a steal in the 2nd.

I go to East Carolina, I'm a Pirate baby! :sifone:

Then get us some scoop on Willie Smith, OT and Dwayne Harris, WR. Start a thread on those guys with some inside info.

I personally think Smith will be a fine LT in a year or two, watching the state game.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
