Can't These Other Computer Manufacturers Step Up?

Tablets are the future of the computer world.

If you like Angry Birds instead of Dragon Age and Battlefield sure. Otherwise it's a pretty friggin niche market. Find someone who will blow more cash than a phone costs yet slightly (SLIGHTLY) less than a computer on a piece of equipment that's more "neat" than useful.

Things apple does better than other companies;

hype

high prices

crippled software

and again.......hype

the ipad isn't technically superior to it's competitors, simply more expensive and alot more hyped.

Mostly true. Just like the Ipod. I've always found that Creative MP3 devices are far superior to Ipods. Ipods handcuff you to their format where Creative could handle just about anything. They just didn't have the money to put out flashy commercials or anything so they weren't that big. Other companies like Archos and whatnot still put out better devices than Apple.

Lol

Look back at the last decade. Here is the business plan of most consumer tech...

Wait to see what apple does. Rip it off, only less intuitive.

Apple is not for you computer nerds who want to tinker with everything. It's for the 90% of us adults who just want something easy and functional.

Apple sucks IMO. The Mac platform blows for my basic needs (may be great for others, but not for me) and I neither own nor need a smartphone, mp3 player, or tablet. If I ever did decide to buy a smartphone, tablet, or mp3 player I'd buy something else just because that company strikes me as arrogant, pretentious, and WAYYYYYY over-hyped.

But double the price?

    • The only thing I know is nfl red zone.
    • We put a ton of high draft capital into young WRs over the past few years. We drafted a WR in top 2 rounds of the draft in 4 out of the past 5 years. At some point, we need to rely on the dudes we drafted vs relying on veteran role players. That's the only way we're going to evolve as a team and take the next step to going back to winning again.  Remember when Cam lost KB and everyone thought it was the end of the universe? And 2015 happened.  Maybe losing Theilen and Coker will open some opportunities for some other guys to step up.
    • So apparently in the time between the end of the last football season, and now, a TON of streaming sites have been taken down. From what I remember most of these idiotic offiicial streaming services that offer NFL games don't ever offer ALL of the games. I remember subscribing to one service on youtube last season that cost hundreds of dollars and it would still constantly tell me games were either blacked out or unavailable, which is totally ridiculous. Is there any one service that I can watch ALL of the games on?? It gets on my everlasting nerves already that there's so many different streaming sites and they are all expensive as hell. I don't want to take out an entire additional car payment to subscribe to 4 different streaming services to watch all the games. Is there just ONE I can subscribe to? The most comprehensive thing I have access to now is Sirius XM. It's only 10 ish bucks a month and I can listen to the home or away broadcasts of any game. Only thing is I can't WATCH the games but this seriously comes in handy if I'm out doing something, driving, or can't stay still at the moment to watch the games. But usually I'm off on Sundays, so I mostly want to watch them.
