Not sure if this has already been posted but here is an in depth look at Clausen and Pike. Seems the author thinks Pike has a better chance at succeeding. Also thinks Ricky Stanzi would be a good option in the draft.......

wow very interesting.

for those who don't want to read:

getting a 25 or higher on your wonderlic gives a player a better chance at success at the NFL level. very few QBs who scored 24 or lower amounted to anything. this is all within the last 10 years because that's when the wonderlic became more prominent in drafting a QB.

Statistically neither do QBs that score 40 or higher. As a matter of fact ther are more successful QBs with a sub 20 wonderlic than there are 40+.

This guy has an interesting algorithm but there is so much that is not input in his formula.

Everybody who has seen Stanzi will tell you he has arm strength issues and decision making issues.

That may have something to do with there being more QBs in general with a sub 20 wonderlic score than a 40+ wonderlic score.
