How do you brush your teeth?

Are you messy, do you lean over the sink, etc...

I am messy as hell, I have to lean over the sink to keep my mess in check. Also I brush my tongue and the roof of my mouth which usually triggers a hacking spell. My wife hates it but I can't see how you can effectively clean your teeth and mouth without making a bit of a mess. In fairness my dentist has told me I have overactive saliva glands.

much the same as you Z, but i keep my mouth closed the whole time so i don't drool all over the sink. then i gargle with water which cuts down on the hacking for me.

I don't floss, probably should. I have terrible teeth, very narrow roof which results in crowding. It's just a mess.

I brush twice a day, morning and night. Keep my mouth closed as well. Don't floss because I have sensitive gums and I tend to bleed easily because I am heavy handed as hell.
