At this stage I’m getting the vibe that the pick will either be Dareus or Missouri QB Blaine Gabbert. However, with too much downside to Gabbert’s game, I see them going with the safer prospect in Dareus.

To be clear, Bunting's "vibe" doesn't have any more meaning than Schefter's "feeling". It's all just reading the tea leaves.

These losers coming out with their mock drafts with someone other than Cam at #1 are cracking me up. Do they really not understand that there has been zero indication that the pick will be somebody other than Cam from actual people in the know?

Out of curiosity, what criteria do you use to determine who's "in the know" and who isn't (other than whether they agree with you)?

Considering that there are only 4 people who are in the know, (JR, Morrison, Hurney and Rivera) there has been zero indication that the pick will be anybody.

And before you ask, no answering a question about a player does not indicate anything, unless the question is "Are you going to draft _________?"

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
