When I played Open League, it was held at the complex on Sunday night along with Church League. Those guys were pretty bad in terms of what you would expect from church goers..

one of the funniest things I've seen in my life was when I was 14 or 15 and a deacon in our church got hit in the balls by a pitch and promptly yelled "God dammit!"

We had a similar incident with a Pentecostal softball team a few years ago. Some guy made a joke about my then fiance and I made a joke about what he could do with his wife's long hair, he didn't appreciate my humor even though it was less insulting then his and we almost came to fisticuffs. Luckily we had a Dodge Durango for 3rd base and cooler heads prevailed. That team had been talking trash all year long anyways, wish we could have lashed it out. They weren't allowed back in the next year.
