Red Wings @ Canes

Recommended Posts

Skinner gets his 30th goal which in my opinion really cements his title as "Rookie of The Year." One more assist and Skinner will have a 60 point season which is absolutely amazing. The youngest player in the NHL reaching the 60 point mark that some NHL veterans will never reach.

The Canes have a great group of guys and if they can pull out this win, they might have all of the momentum to make a final push for the playoff's and possibly a historic playoff run.

Cam Ward is still playing out of his mind and he his chance at getting a "confidential word" tonight is still alive. He has made 29 saves, some more acrobatic than others but all around this has been an impressive performance by Ward, Staal, Gleason, and Company.

    • Also, fwiw, listening to Luke on the radio broadcast, and literally the first play of Simmons’ Panthers career, Luke explained he was the furthest outside guy on the kickoff coverage and his job is just to contain so nothing gets outside, Simmons cut inside of a block and gave up contain leading to a huge return and additional 15 yards for a late hit by Incoom. So fug this thread.
    • Fire the ST coach. We have the worst kickoff coverage I have seen from any team
