Workaholics

It's Always Sunny when it is clicking is sort of a snowball effect. Every episode it starts out silly and just snowballs into absolute hilarity by the end of the show.

But I can see what Boo is saying bc the characters in It Always Sunny pretty much are just terrible people. But part of the humor is the fact that they are oblivious to just how terrible they are. All the stupid poo they do makes perfect sense in their minds.

But Charlie, Dee, and Frank (Danny Devito) make every show worth a watch IMO.

Workaholics hasn't had that great episode yet IMO. For me it is right there but there needs to be that episode that completely converts me.

With It's Always Sunny they got me in the "Underage Drinking: A National Concern" episode when they decided they would be doing society a service by letting underage kids drink in their bar and they all end up getting invited to prom (except Mac who decided he would go stag). This was before Danny Devito was even on the show. Great hilarious episode.

I haven't seen last night's episode of Workaholics yet with Chris Parnell but for me they haven't convinced me just yet (I watched 5 episodes on On Demand today). But I am a big Parnell fan so I hope it is the episode.

exactly why it was hilarious.. I'm laughing now at some of the stupid poo they came up with. I'm not sure if the show it's over, but it had a good run, let it go.

FX now has The League, which has taken over as one of the best comedies on TV.

I think Its Always Sunny is still going on but they bang out their seasons in 6 weeks. They have 12 episodes and they do back to back new episodes every week and then it is over. Plus FX doesn't do many re-runs on their network. Comedy Central has started replaying Its Always Sunny though.

I'm curious what they will do if football still hasn't started..

that show is very well written. especially Taco. I still think the character is meant to f**k with you, but then you can't tell if he's serious.

I hope it isn't lame.. they really need to do some very well written episodes to pull them out from going downhill.. the show was great, but there's such a thing as lasting too long, and I think it was just about at that point last year.

    • fans view “box safety” with the same disdain they have when they hear “game manager” QB.   but there’s a reason most 1st round safeties are “box safeties”-it’s a much longer list of requisite skills to be a good box safety than it is to be a guy whose only real responsibility is to not get beat over the top. Fans crave the ed reed type and as someone who has never been able to enjoy this franchise having a guy like that, I get the enthusiasm-but I’m not really prepared to spend a first round pick on a free safety. If it happens it’ll be fun, it’ll address a need with a good player and that’s well and good. But those guys end up walking after their first contract because their pedigree usually outpaces what their teams feel like they’re adding to their overall win total.
    • Its criminal that the upcoming season is mainly in the tiny hands of BY.  I still member the time I did a full turn, if you member his first off-season from that Panthers all-time worst team....... Answering questions at his first presser, he goes along the lines " I didn't do nothing, no weight room or throwing" " I needed to get away". I was fully out with him, the guy didn't even try to improve his football mind, body, strength, in the biggest joke of panther football. I could not believe it, what a leader or dare say "point guard"(lols @ NBA point guards as a ref)
    • I view FS almost as the NT of the secondary. Oftentimes the true measure of his impact isn't necessarily in the plays that he makes but what he allows you to do with the rest of your defense to allow them to make plays. When you have that elite true sideline to sideline FS safety blanket over the top of the defense it allows you to be a lot more aggressive with everyone else. Where as when you have a Nick Scott as your last line of defense you gotta be mindful to not have to rely too heavily on that.
