Only a few minutes in, but this doesn't sound good for his future in Carolina. Although he has already said that his decision won't be about the money but more about where he wants to end his career.

son of a bitch i'm pissed i want him to retire here and i dunno i think it's up in the air

here's a quick summary

he says a WHOLE LOT of good about miami, the climate, the place, all that. even he could see miami as a place he could 'hang his hat when he's done playing ball'

says he's already settled and comfortable in carolina, but that's about all he's said good about carolina so far

j stew helps his status as an elite rb and allows him to run on premium fuel all the time, but whoever he plays for will get 100% of his effort and his body

he says it all boils down to the quarterback in miami and/or in carolina and who is making the conscious effort into making a team around a championship quarterback

he thinks too much has been made about his injuries

he says whatever team that signs him he will outwork everyone on the field guaranteed

his top priority in his life now and in the future is his daughter

he did say something about not knowing who he's going to be playing for next year or if he'll be playing for a tender next year

there's more in there but a bunch of fluff about a 19 mile bike ride he's doing in miami

that's all i got

He's entering the final phase of his career, can't blame him for wanting to play for a winner... my impression is that he wants to say with Carolina, but if Carolina is going to spend a few more years rebuilding then I can't really blame him for wanting out.

Aha I think it's funny that people argue who has the best tandem in the league when Miami is trying to steal one of our RB's. That should tell you something. Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams don't have sh1t on Deangelo.

I still think he's going to stay. He'll regret it if he leaves.

    • What I love and hate about this team is it’s more filled with potential breakout players than ever before. JT, XL, Coker, Smith-Wade, Ikem, Trevin… and even Bryce are all guys I could legitimately see taking the next step. But the problem with having so many of those guys is that team success somewhat relies on them taking that step, and some are bound not to. That being said, I’m cautiously optimistic given our softer schedule, the way the offense clicked late last year, and the direction we finally have at GM, coach, and QB. Could see us as a sneaky playoff team.
    • Me, signing up for FanDuel Network, and then canceling FanDuel Network:
    • Smith-Wade for me. He has the path to some decent hefty snaps in Evero’s scheme. He held his own last year and improved as he continued to get snaps— If he makes some strides, could be a very capable nickel.  I agree with Sanders. Bryce had some trust in him that final Falcons game post crazy head-stand.  Bryce looked for him a lot that final game and made some critical catches to get us the W. Seems he’s put in major work so I’m hopeful about him.  Wallace will have an offseason under his belt. I like him a lot, was higher graded than most remember in his draft (I.e Brugler had him LB3/70 overall) but he isn’t as cerebral of an LB as we’re used to. I think he could thrive if we get D captain/film-junky type next to him— because right now that’s Jewell.  Still a bit cautious but love the talent. Rozeboom may snag some playing time from him if he’s still working out the kinks.
