Ron Rivera is a D guy. Why would he go QB with all the great talent on the defensive side of the ball ? Remember John Fox ? He went DE in his first

draft and we rode one of the best D lines in the NFL to the SB. Rivera was

a LB I think in Chicago. You have Von Miller, P Peterson, Dariuse, Fairley,

Robert Quinn and the list goes on. I think Rivera taken a QB with the #1

overall pick is just to big of a risk. He has a job to keep not loose !!!!!

the main strength of the offense is that they can dictate the tempo of the game, we can't dictate the tempo with no QB. We at least need a jouneyman but Rivera and Chud had Rivers I doubt they go the Fox route of seeing how long you can be average at QB with no future before the team implodes.

Stability on offense is, in my opinion the area that needs to be the top priority. A close second is being able to stuff the run consistently on the edge and down the middle.
