Although I will say I like that the war between houses is turning into the war against winter. Good to see the turn being made.

 

Also, Dany should stay in Essos until winter has come and gone. Take over Essos, everywhere from Qarth to the Slaver's Bay to the Dothraki Sea. Maybe leave the Free Cities because they seem cool as sh*t.

Solid ending. Hard to top last week's ep in all honesty. IF more major action/events happened this ep, I think it would feel a bit rushed.

 

Wonder what happens now that Jaime is back? What position will he get?

 

Very nice kill by Arya. I'm definitely rooting for her and the Starks(hopefully my hopes aren't crushed again )

 

Kinda felt sorry for Theon, didn't before but I'm really feeling it now. Hope his sister kicks some ass.

I love reading about the geography of the Game of Thrones world. Wish we got better visuals of that sort of thing, and hopefully GRRM expands into more than just the two continents. Especially the islands south of Essos or the continent south of Essos, both of which sound marvelously intriguing.

Arya is a badass. I think my favorite line from this season was her saying her one true God is death.

Arya, Dany, Tyrion, and the Hound are my favorite characters. Jamie's storyline and character arc is pretty awesome as well.

I think they missed a HUGE opportunity with this ending.

 

In the last shot where they're chanting Mhysa, keep that audio playing, but cut to a shot of Catelyn's corpse, and have the eyes open at the last second as you cut to black, and the chanting continues for a few seconds into the credits.

 

I saw that idea on a comment somewhere and love it.

I mentioned it being a good ending shot in one of my posts, and I agree it would have been a great one... I even kept hoping that they would cut back to the show after/during the credits for that scene... It would have fit very well with the episode and acted as a teaser for S4...

 

I'm holding out hope that they'll do that in some way for a S4 teaser during the down time before it will air next year...
