This season will primarily revolve around Tyrion...

If I had to rate character arcs this season, and how they will be converted to TV, they'd be:

1. Tyrion

2. Theon (already seeing a lot of this)

3. Dany

4. Jon

5. Bran

6. Everyone else, with Mel and Stannis leading the way, and Brienne getting a lot of love too...

I really liked Gwendoline Christie's (Brienne) stuff last night, and I think she's going to be fantastic for the role...

Jon Snow was just some baby they found along the way, and when Lyanna died, she warged into it...

Therefore Jon Snow = Lyanna Stark

My thoughts on the theory though... I'm not sold... I still think Jon could actually be Benjen's bastard, and to save the Stark honor and cover Benjen's oath-breaking, Ned claimed Jon as his own, ensuring he'd have somewhat of a good life in comparison to other bastards...

You know how Starks are with their honor and all.

It doesn't explain how Ned got ahold of Jon before he came back, but it could have happened...

Another theory I like is that, SPOLER: yes, R+L=J, but that Meera Reed is Jon's twin sister, taken in by Howland Reed (now posing as Jojen Reed, guiding Bran to the Three-eyed-crow)

His on-screen presence is phenomenal. With all the characters vying for power he seems like the only one that actually has it and the only one that really knows how to handle it.

Tywin Lannister is a really cool character. He's like you said, the only one with actual power. All power from other characters (except maybe Varys and Littlefinger) is actually an illusion.
