Dareus on Sports Science

I think he's the best pick, honestly. He's not the flashiest pick though, he won't sell tickets, etc.

Our offense was bad, no, it was TERRIBLE last year, but look at our coaches. Lame duck HC, OC that should never have been an OC, etc. What do you expect? I seriously think that if still have our beast run game, and a good defense (Dareus helps this), that Moore or even Clausen can keep us competitive. If we suck, we get another pick.

I think our pick will be a kicker though....

Dareus and Peterson(and you could argue Green) are the ONLY players worth a #1 overall pick. It just so happens that DT is a bigger need than CB/WR.

That video should show that Dareus should be the #1 pick.

He has no baggage and is NFL ready. He will cause Ryan

and Brees fits. He is actually better then SUH.

This guy is a monster and will be all-pro for us for

many years. Its a no brainer Dareus>> Newton

The fact that Dareus can play multiple spots on the front, is a 3-down player, and plays banged up reduces his liklihood of busting. We will run some 3-4 fronts; he can play the nose or end. In the 4-3, play him at the 1 technique or the three technique. He has multiple moves and multiple abilities. Fairley is a one hit, one-trick pony, a gap shooting three technique who loafs at times.

We say the draft is deep at DT--so is the dropoff after Dareus. Fairley (see above), Austin (character), Wilkinson (level of comp/longevity), Paea (height, arm length, rough), and Nevis (size)--are some of the "depth" that are projected to go in the first two rounds.

The Panthers no longer have a stud DE (We have a good one and two who might be), so we need a stud DT to attract attention. He plays day 1.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
