I would love to have Green as much as the next guy, but please, can we get a QB first? Otherwise it won't matter.

Disagree - Good receivers can make quarterbacks look great. Obviously you want to land a great one, but if there isn't that great one, then go with the best player that fits a need. Personally I think that is PP or Dareus, but eh, if the Panthers thought differently I could see the logic...

didn't say anything about being set if smith were gone.

i'm saying with the potential of gettis/lafell and shockey signing, carolina's first pick won't be a wr.

Shockey's signing has nothing to do with us drafting a WR or not... I don't think we're going to take a WR because I think they plan to force Smitty to stay, but if he really wanted out it'd make sense why we might go WR.

They can't make incompetent QBs look even ok (our QB situation), no matter how great they are. WRs are the most dependent players in football. Others said it above. Lions.

I agree with you on BPA, but in my opion if we go that route i'd hope to hell its Peterson. If he's a shutdown corner/return man he could single-handedly reduce opposing points and score points (which our offense certainly can't do).

I'm soooooooooooooo sick of hearing the Panthers have needs at DL. Goddamn.
