I know, I am just saying if they pick Newton; I have faith and I hope everyone else does as well. If someone leaves the board or stops being a fan because we draft Newton then I would question whether they were a true fan to begin with.

Whatever the organization goes with is what I will support. I personally want Newton and if he is the pick, then I will be ecstatic; if he's not, then I will support whoever is the pick.

Many of us have said all along that if they draft Cam Newton it will be because he DID impress in his interviews and he did grasp things it looked like he might struggle with. We have no idea how he actually did, though. We'll have a better indication on the 28th, at least. :)

Many of us have said all along that if they draft Cam Newton it will be because he DID impress in his interviews and he did grasp things it looked like he might struggle with. We have no idea how he actually did, though. We'll have a better indication on the 28th, at least. :)

I didn't say it didn't. I actually said, that he already has. They didn't just give him the playbook and tell him "alright we might seeya in April." Newton came back to Charlotte along with Gabbert and Mallet and they presented their knowledge and comprehension of the playbook as well as which defenses they will run that play against and who his reads are. If Cam is the pick, then it's because he proved to the Panthers organization he was worth it and deserved it.

The bottom line is... None of us actually know... Unless Ms. Cleo is reading and posting on here. We all have our favorites and hopes!

How about arguing something that has been proven!

How about coming together!?????

More than likely I'll get blasted about punctuation or some other dumb shyit and people will miss the point, AGAIN!

We probably won't come together until after the first draft selection is made! Even then there will still be whining!!!

It's like being locked in a blog room with a bunch of women! Man up and talk facts!

For all of you posters who base your opinion on Gruden's QB camp with Newton, maybe you haven't seen the REST of the story. Gruden would pick Newton over ANY of the other QBs. http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2011/04/gruden_newton_was_most_impress.html

Good post! Good to catch the people up that didn't see the whole thing. People will still complain about Gruden not knowing shyit about QB's or how they stock piled QB's when he coached... In the end, I hope we pick him, and I hope he supercedes ALL expectations!

      Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.

      I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
