This is my first thread gents! Finally hit that 100 post count. For those of you who dont know make sure you catch it at 9:30 pm est on Tuesday night. I already have my DVR set to record it. As a HUGE fan of the game I'm loving how more and more of the NFL is becoming more transparent! I.E. Hard Knocks, the 30 for 30 pieces, and now this (not referring to the lockout) I'm really looking forward to this 90 min special in which he breaks down what it's like to be in a NFL Draft war room!

FYI...

ESPN played a snippet as a teaser last night and he only had 2 QB's targeted in the first round. Both Newton and Gabbert respectively. I personally found that a little interesting, especially since most of the talking heads seem to think that up to 5 could be taken in the first.

I'll be interested in hearing his take on of the the prospects being that he's been a very successful coach in the NFL for some time now, and basically respected throughout the league.

I am really excited about this segment and hope that you guys can catch it. It's the first of it's kind and like i said he's been a coach and a GM so he knows what the fug he's talkin about!

      Im not firm on many things football, but this statement or belief or strategy I am 100% for. Full Offseason the goal is to make the playoffs. Week 1, 1000% I want to win. Weeks 2-10,  1000% I want to win. Until the math stats 0.000000000% chance at NO playoffs, I want to win. *Once* there's no chance at the playoffs, I want to 100% lose every game until the end. You are still loser at 2-15 or 5-12, I want to never lose like this again. I want the best value for losing and suffering. Again the only goal is playoffs. Once in the playoffs anything can happen, I want to win the whole dam show. If you happen to lose in the first round, that's perfectly fine and lets work hard this upcoming off-season to get another chance to make them.  This is the ONLY way to play in the NFL. Anyone not understanding this method of strategy, please call your doctor for a visit...

      Purdy's good but at the end of the day you're paying first class money for a business class seat.  It's a big problem with the salary cap.  QBs take most of it whether they are Pat Mahomes or not.

      Purdy saved the 49ers from that three 1st picks for Trey Lance. People forget that. People also forget he should have MVP votes for the 23 season. He's been any where from the 8th(his best/23) to 14th ranked QB, he's legit and guys around top 10 get paid as QBs.....guys in 28th get paid too, he's 4x the QB Trevor Lawrence is and better than BY by miles as well...even without CMC, Samuel(whos a RB playing WE), and half the OL.    *BUT*    You non-believers missed this ultra important mistake that honestly made me reconsider all the praise I gave him. https://www.si.com/nfl/49ers/news/49ers-qb-brock-purdy-throws-blind-40-percent   That's is damming to my case and reset my thinking of his. That's nuclear scary now and I need some time.  too honest for me to overlook.
