If they felt like it was a "too many cooks" situation, bringing in somebody new would defeat the purpose. Morgan's title certainly makes it sound like he's the man now as far as football decisions go. It's been said that Morgan is an old school "watch film" scout where Fitterer had embraced a more analytics style approach. That could mean things are being reshaped to fit what Morgan prefers (not to say analytics will be abandoned, mind you). And of course, there's the addition of Tilis. Hard not to imagine he's had a voice in all this. Especially true given he's the second most powerful name on the org chart. Between the two of them, Morgan and Tilis are certainly acquainted with some "rock stars" or potential rock stars in the scouting world. Still, If they feel they have the people necessary to do the job right now, that's good. -

I hope there's a good competition for starting center this season. Since we have a young QB who is still very much developing, this is a massively important role to get set in stone here. Good luck to Cade!
