RR: 7-8 days ago. They watched all of his passes and tape. Basically they feel comfortable bringing him in the offense . theres things they'll reduce and things they'll add to the playbook and its not all on him the team has to their part

RR: he's driven, willing to win, rose above adversity, won TWO national championships on two different levels etc...( you know typical huggerism;) )

MM:How long before hes ready to start

RR:It depends on how quickly hes ready, Dont want him out there if team is struggling, it'll be a process

MM:what about Jimmy

RR:he was in tough situation and they want Jimmy to be a part of what they do(be a backup)

He didn't say much really. It was quite short. They asked when they made the decision and Rivera said about 6 days before the draft. He also said that Cam isn't drafted as the savior, just another (big) piece of the puzzle. That's about it really.

      I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......

      Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.

      Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that.
