Clausen's Still Fighting

I only respond, when people attack me but nice try. I don't taking cursing at me to easily. As far as his jersey question, I would have expected him to just say, "we'll see". Anyway just chill.

You attacked someone else, however, for their English skills. I found several examples of run-on sentences, words not spelled correctly, and other grammatical mistakes in your posts. Could there be a double standard at play? Could you be a hippocrit and not a jeanyus?

That was after someone had attacked me, do you want to go back and read the original posts and then come back a talk to me?

I didn't attack a fellow Panther, it was a figure of speech. Think about it, where is he going to go? He is under contract, he is here to compete.

"Go away, you are not welcome here" is a figure of speech?

He could have done things very differently. He could demand a trade once the labor stuff sorts out. He could get angry, like Reggie Bush did. Instead he'll be there competing. and until he's gone or he decides to give it up, the jersey number he wears should be his.

You have your opinion and I have mine. I'm sorry you don't like Newton, but I think he will get number two.

Since when did thinking one player shouldn't be tossed to the curb and should be able to keep his jersey mean I don't like Cam Newton?

I am absolutely pulling for JC this year. So far, he has handled this situation brilliantly, IMO.

Agreed. Glad to see it. To be honest, I wasn't sure how he would respond. Been happy with it so far, anyway.

Well it seems clear to me that you don't want Newton to win the starting job.

if i'm clausen...there is no way in hell i'm giving up my number to an incoming rookie...don't care who he is or where he was drafted...i would hope he has a sense of pride...it's a number, cam can pick a different one

after last year his confidence looked nonexistent this will show he's not the type to fold regardless of last year.

uhm ... what? Why?

I just want Clausen to decide what happens to his jersey number on his own and I personally don't want to kick Clausen off the team just yet.

What does that have to do with Newton starting?

I don't think rookies are usually ready to start from day 1 but if Newton is, then good!
