To the "yes we Cam" people

Recommended Posts

I don't get how Panther fans can hate on Newton. This argument about him going home is really dumb. The guy has been on a whirlwind tour this past week. He didn't even have enough clothes to wear at Gross's kickball event. He met with the staff, corporate sponsors, media, and did a team function at JG's kickball tourney. I don't blame the guy for wanting to go home and pack up his sh*t and get his personal things in order befoe he moves to Charlotte to start his professional career.

Good lord people. We got a potential game changer on our roster that could transform this team and organization into something huge. Let the guy go home to take a sh*t on his own john.

We also have potentially a bust that will destroy our franchise and transform it into the LA Panthers. Who gives a poo about potential. After he does something then I will make up my mind whether I support him or not as a starting QB. Fugger can't just walk in off the street like he owns the place. Put potential in one hand and poo in the other and we all know which one will fill up faster. Potential is nothing but we can HOPE he works out.

What I'm saying is that Newton does not have any ties to politics, keep it that way. Why relate a franchise player to a political failure? Doesn't make sense to me. Get a new slogan please.

it doesn't make sense to me why you're so uptight about it. I haven't seen anybody on the forum bring up politics but you. To look at it from the angle you are seeing it, I actually think it helps ease political tension as it involves something we all enjoy. Sports has always been a great equalizer in every respect including for the fans. Donkeys and Elephants don't matter, only Panthers(rawr). I can't even comprehend how something this trivial could bother somebody.

I like it as well as any other concepts people come up with. "We Cam Do It"(Rosie the riveter) or "Cam We Fix it?"(Bob the Builder) would great too.

If you're seeing political lines then you need to chillax.

I know this isn't were this is suppose to go, but there isn't a general for sale section and I can't start a thread yet.

I received this pool table light on a trade and figured this would probably be the best place of any to find a buyer for it. I can assure you this is not a scam and the link is completely safe to click on.

Check it out and hit me up if you're interested.

I tried that first, but for some reason it said I didn't have the authority to start a new thread. I am sorry if this bothers anyone, I just thought this would be the best place to try and sell it.

well they say cam newton might have trouble memorizing all of chud's plays and i mean, reagan couldn't have told you what he had for breakfast after putting his plate away so there's one i could get behind

Reagan needed to get alzheimer's before he started saying stupid things that made no sense. You manage to do it without any outside help.

As to the original post, people saying "yes we Cam" doesn't bother me, but I do agree the general football discussion will go much better if we stay away from discussion of politics, race, and anything else other than pure football.

If we start this whole 'everyone with a negative opinion of Newton is a racist' tactic now, we're well on our way to being AFMB II. Nobody with more than half a brain wants to see things go that route.

In fairness, Newton can't really be blamed for fan stupidity. That got here long before he did.

If we were to compare Cam to a black political figure(Congressman), let it be one with balls and honor...that also happens to be a military guy which fits the "Football is war" metaphors

example, after pulling a Jack Bauer type stunt in Iraq to protect his Men:

"“If it’s about the lives of my men and their safety, I’d go through Hell with a gasoline can..... There is not a person in this room I would not sacrifice my life for." -Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Allen B. West
