How good will Cam be this year?

Oh ok, so it's okay to try to take shots at Matt Moore because you're doing it to dig TRD.

This whole thread is a shot at Newton. So I thought I'd turn the table on TRD a little.

TRD doesn't need my aid in poo, but I think it's funny that you don't come to Matt Moore's defense and even post images of him taking hits yet you get into an uproar about someone who isn't posting great things about Cam Newton.

Well, see... that's where you're wrong. I HAVE come to Moore's defense in the past. In fact, I voted that he get the starting job this year over Clausen and Newton for at least a number of games if not the whole year in 2011 (However, depending on Newton's training camp and preseason, he might be able to start out of the gate... we won't know for sure, as Rivera will make that call)

In fact... TRD has repped me for saying good things about Moore in months gone by.

So, yeah... you need to not defend a troll...

Oh okay so since he's trolling you decided to troll back? I'm not defending him, I'm trying to point out that what you are doing in this thread is ending up just as bad.

In fact, I voted that he get the starting job this year over Clausen and Newton

and TRD has said he'd much rather have Newton than Clausen starting games. so you two are even. So where you disagree is where Newton falls in the depth chart of those three quarterbacks. Big deal.

Now stop acting like your posts are superior to his and revel in your trolling like he does.

This thread is not a shot at Newton.

In fact it was me turning over a new leaf and giving him my utmost support and my full belief that he'll be the greatest QB ever.

Is that not what everyone else has been doing?

Retardedly optimistic threads are only allowed when you're serious about them. :P

I would love to see your train of thought on this one.

Oh... it's not too hard TRD. I think you can get it.

Well... maybe not. So, I'll spell it out for you...

It's called "misplaced blame" and "irrelevant facts". Something you spent the better part of almost 5 months doing with Cam about us taking him.

And as far as your "Turning a new leaf" on Cam...

*cough* BULLSHIT *cough*

It's almost funny you would try that angle.

    • The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
    • This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
    • The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
