Keep him, unless hes a huge distraction. He's one of our best players of all time. let him retire as a panther, and of course he was pissed last year, hes a competitor and who the hell wouldn't be pissed with a poo team??

I want him. He's more valuable than a pick to us, our offense needs all weapons in place.

I really would like to see him go if I have to go one way or the other. He's old, fiery, a bit senile already, and still thinks balls thrown in triple coverage to him is good offense.

Gotta say fugg off sooner or later to a guy who gets in as much trouble with his temper as he has.

and spare me the small man syndrome as an excusable fuel to act like a child...

You need two or three clones out there 6-2,3,height 4.6,7 speed long arms and sure hands. That makes it easy on a QB.

Smitty has been doubled for the last half-decade and I am frankly bored with it.

Lol, read this board two years ago and you would be convinced, that jake Delhomme MADE Smitty.

he's a head case, face it. How many citations do you need to confirm that? he's old, he's pissed off, he's (thinks) entitled.

cut your losses, get rid of all problems. His Panther life has been extended more than once because of the "great player" you are referring to.

He is out of rope IMO.

I believe he can contribute but I am not sure at what cost it will come. He already has a running tab that is pretty high.

Above all of that...the guy is posturing for a trade. Whether he can contribute or not is irrelevant when you are talking about a guy who wants out.

bye Steve

    • If his knees continue to decline, what's your plant at RT with Moton eating up a ton of cap? All we had to do was see how his knees hold up this year and then move forward accordingly, but noooooo....
    • Their GM has done a good job building that roster no doubt. I’m a little confused to this offseason’s approach of letting the OL get broken up with such a young promising QB on a rookie deal.
    • Doesn’t matter how it was billed. Bryce was billed as the most NFL and that turned out to be false too. Chark can’t find a team, Mingo did nothing with the Cowboys, Hurst is pretty much retired, and our OGs allowed instant pressure. So you have a rookie QB with multiple voices in his head trying to run a NFL offense with no protection and AT as the only weapon. Would Stroud have played better? Probably because Stroud is the better QB, but he still would have struggled. Stroud came down a little this past year as his OL had some injuries and his weapons got hurt. You can look at Stroud vs the Ravens to see how he operates with instant pressure. No QB is thriving in that environment and I’m a pretty big Stroud Stan.
