The worst huddle drought yet

Every offseason, there's a new thread forewarning of the dry spells that arise during those stretch weeks of the offseason. The huddle becomes a baron wasteland with tumbleweeds and random poo threads (such as this one) with no real content, but we flock to such threads because they're all we have to read.

Normally, at this juncture in the offseason, we have mini-camps and rookie symposiums, and all sorts of appetizers to stave off our hunger. But this year, we have no such tidbits of useless information to salivate over. This appeal process will see to it that we won't have a damn thing til June at the earliest.

Prepare yourselves for the worst information drought the huddle has yet to experience. Let's keep making redundant and silly threads, let's rave about our newly found swag, and let's keep the huddle alive during these dark days.

That is all, and may :cam: shine down upon you from his mountain of excellence.

if there is no football this place will be dead come November through Feb. 2012. Anyone who does post will probably sound delusional from the deprivation of football. There will always be the members who come and go; I think there are more Cam fans than Panther fans on the board as of now.

I welcome the cam fanboys. It's always nice to have new fans. The question is do they stay fans? Where are all those Memphis fans from when DLo got drafted? Or the Duck fans when we picked up Stew?

Just had a thought...

Are the cheerleaders locked out too? Maybe Panthers.com should do an in-depth analysis of the squad, featuring a different one each day.

You know, stuff like their background, family life, body measurements, sexual fantasies, etc. Could provide some nice material for the Huddle. ;)

Edit: To the OP, how can you give yourself pie not once, but twice in the same thread? Why not just go ahead and self-pie in all of your posts? Seems kinda weird to me...

here's an information tidbit for you: I'm currently not wearing any underwear.

Jase when I swag'ed you, I forgot to write no-homo. It's too late to add that in now, so think of me what you will.

Here's a winky face to make it worse. ;)

It's just weird in my eyes. I'm on this board literally 65% of the day everyday, I'd draw it on a pie chart to better illustrate it for, but I doubt you could read it properly.

I think your percentages are off. The other 35% should be closer to 50%. Do you really think the other activities feel appreciated?

    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
