Holy fug you are soooooo terrible at putting coherent and articulated thoughts together. Honestly, how is this even possible?

Holy fug why are you still here????

Damn Lockout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You and Matt should have been gone before the draft.

I'm just saying, you rarely show the ability to put together a decent looking post. Do you have some issues? If so, I'll stop making fun of you but I just don't believe a normal adult can be that terrible at life.

I want NCmonzta to come back and explain to us how Fox should have left Moore in there after he was on IR

maybe NCmonsta meant....

Moore should have never been benched in week 2....and Clausen should have never been given the keys as starter week 3. In theory, Moore starts the entire season.

since you are changing things.....you don't keep everything else occured later in the real timeline of events the same. Moore plays up until the NO game as the starter......then the events of that game change as well.

Impossible on multiple accounts.

1. He would never understand that complexity of thinking.

2. He was clearly talking about post original benching since he brings up "Musical chairs" with the QBs.

It's clear he wasn't a fan last year, didn't watch any games, and didn't follow the season.

Are you going to skim over the fact that 2 of our 3 weapons on offense didn't play all preseason?

So since Smith or Stew didn't play in 4 preseason games (3 where both teams didn't even game plan) we shouldn't expect our starting QB (who has been with the team with the same coaching staff for 3 years) to lead 1 TD drive??? So we won't be the only team in Football history to not score a TD in the preseason.

Even with the limited weapons he had. He should have had 1 td drive.

JMO!

 Come on man, just admit it. You are only here for Cam. These paragraphs prove you have no idea what went on last year.

Keep backpedaling. :seeya:

I'm comfortable with my fanhood of the Panthers, you don't need to keep bringing up stuff I openly admitted then trying to twist it to make it seem like I'm not a fan of the team, but please keep trying.

There's no need to twist anything you just don't comprehend well. You're the one twisting and we know how much you love to do that.

1. Who benefit from that decision?

2. Fox's was also not a fan of Jimmy and he showed that by not going to the after draft press conferance.

3. The FO had faith in Matt to build off of 2009 season. Long story short he didn't.

1. Who benefits? The entire season in 09 was purely about testing out the youth.....not allowing Fox to have Jake meant one way or another Fox was forced to start youth (Moore, Clausen, Pike). Fox didn't like any of them.

Other people have been able to read my post just fine. Maybe it's just you.

Throw in the fact that our team got away from our core because we were trying to find out what we had at receiver after drafting 3 of them, the teams we faced in preseason, the clusterfug that was the coaching staff, the lost reps with Clausen on board, etc and you saw the results.

So tell me what you really meant then?

I don't think I'm twisting when you say "Fox got tired of playing musical chairs so he settled on Clausen"

How am I misinterpreting that?

Explain how I messed that quote up.

    • Seriously? A CB who missed all that time on his rookie deal and was also a top 10 pick when the guys picked right before and after have been studs. A RB our GMs tried to replace with FAs and 2nd rounders and two backup level players is one of the best drafts we’ve ever had? I’d argue that the 2011/2012 drafts were better even with just Cam and Luke/Norman. Here’s the drafts I think were better: 2017, maybe 2018, 2015, 2013, 2011, 2012, 2008, 2007, 2001, 2002 (just Pepp) I’m hoping 2025 is way better as well. Honestly, we’ve kind of sucked at drafting overall and that’s the only reason you can even remotely call Horn, Hubbard, Tremble and BC a good draft let alone one of our best ever. Good teams that draft well would laugh at that as a great draft. If you want to look at say the 2023 Lions draft, you’d get 4 stud/above average/average starters not just 3 replaceable starters/backups and a top 10 pick that missed half his games. That’s a draft that helps turn a team into a playoff team. Our record since our 2021 draft is 19-49. A best ever draft doesn’t go 19-49.
    • I remember when football was great.    Wasn't this century.
    • Bingo. You can't pay that type of player elite franchise QB money. That average starter type player can excel when he's surrounded by top shelf talent in a great offensive system but pay him elite QB money and you're going to really struggle to surround him with the type of talent you need to carry him. You pay those elite franchise QBs because they can carry your roster. You can't pay guys who have to be carried. Bryce showed glimpses down the stretch last year. I really hope he keeps building on that. But before we back up the Brinks truck he needs to show that he's the type of QB who can lift up and carry the offense because when you pay those guys that's what they're gonna have to do.
