Wanted to throw a shout out to our very own Alex Ranucci for his stellar performance at the World BBQ Championships in Memphis.

Alex took 9th place....yeah Alex I saw your ugly mug on the NBC News this morning. Shameful....just shameful.:D

For those of you who have not had the opportunity to frequent one of the World Famous Huddle Tailgates, Alex donates his time at nearly every game to cook up some of the most outstanding BBQ (shoulder, ribs, brisket, turds, wings) in Charlotte.

Congrats Alex.....you have represented us well once again.

I've tried some hot sauce in my day, but damn I've never had anything as hot as the stuff I tried at my first tailgate..

Yep, we reserve that stuff to screw with opposing fans that drop by. We had several over the past few seasons crying like a baby.

I'm usually let down when people say something along the lines of "this is the hottest stuff I've ever tried"..

of course that didn't apply when I tried that... pretty sure my mouth was on fire for 15 minutes..

      Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.

      I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
