i imagine he'll be trying to get traded as soon as possible if he wants a starting gig or at least a chance at one. won't be getting that here.

Why did David Dunn touch this guy. He normally only takes on guys that are gonna make him a ton of money Ie franchise guys.

I wasn't impressed with Clausen's reads or his throwing the ball away so much last season, but I guess all the blame can't go to him. To be honest, the offensive line wasn't much to talk about either.

IMO, he needs to watch a good vet from the sidelines and learn. Not that the Saints need another qb but drew brees would be a good mentor for him.

I'd like to see Clausen with a competent coaching staff to be honest before we give up hope.

I was initially a fan of giving Clausen a second chance, but as the season progressed, I saw little to no progression from him at all from one week to the next. Guys like LaFell, Gettis, and Mike Goodson had their moments in an anemic offense, but not once during the 2010 season did I feel that Jimmy Clausen was going to ever be a serviceable NFL QB.

It's not fair to Jimmy that he had to endure a "lame duck" season only to ride the pine behind a rookie or get traded the next year, but IMO the Panthers should at least try to find some value for him since they made it clear on draft day that he is not going to be the QB of the future.
