Ya. They both need to stop dressing up. Vampires and superheroes are not real.

Maybe it's a subculture thing that makes it difficult for you to get. I dunno.

But seriously. You meet a hot chick dressed up as Miss Marvel or Lara Croft and she, inexplicably, comes on to you... well I imagine you might change your tune rather abruptly.

And finally, I somehow imagine you like women to dress sexy, don't you? What's the difference between Victoria's Secret and Chun Li?

Alright. Fair enough. I still think you're looking through the lenses of bias, if not pure ignorance.

But let's talk about how you Cosplay. Because I imagine you do, even if you don't realize it.

I imagine you own a few sports jerseys that you wear, right? Probably even a Carolina Panthers jersey?

And sure, professional athletes are real where super heroes are not, but you are, essentially, dressing up as something that is ultimately unattainable for you. I'm guessing you are not a professional athlete, or anything resembling one in the most imaginative sense.

Congratulations. Welcome to fandom. It doesn't matter whether it's sports, sci-fi, fantasy, comics, or the g0d@mned Ice Capades. Fans like to dress up as their personal heroes.

So, like it or not kiddo, yer a fanboy geek.

It's okay. Really. Just accept it. We're here to support you.

Ive been in San Diego during Comic Con....There are insanely hot looking women walking around

I said during....not attending

Some of them do attend. They call them actresses.

A few years ago, the company paid for me to go to some technology/training conference in Chicago. Every vendor table had hired some hot model to get the attention of the attendees. And it worked very well. :)
