Geoff Hangartner-C-Panthers Feb. 27 - 1:09 am et

Free agent OL Geoff Hangartner will visit the Bills on Friday, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter.

Buffalo will view Hangartner as a starter, something the Panthers weren't willing to do. Hangartner, who turns 27 in April, can play guard and center.

I told ya so.

You really did not tell us much....everyone knew Hang would get starter attention...and pretty much everyone knew the bills would be a team that would take a clsoe look.

Please wait until you provide some real insider info before pounding your chest in satisfaction.

Ahh, let him pound his chest. It's not like he gets many opportunities... :D

Being reported now that the Bills are also bringing in Kendall Simmons from the Steelers. If Hangartner leaves without an offer, all may not be lost yet.

Most interesting in the discussion to me is what Chandler pointed out in the Observer: That if he's signed by the Bills one of his primary responsibilities will be blocking Kris Jenkins.

    • That’s basically the old baseball cliche, we can lose 100 games without you.
    • One last thing, they could have brought Lock in this year, right? Didn’t for some reason. I know that when Canales got here they talked to him and he had committed elsewhere. But I didn’t see that they talked to him this year. That means something, but who knows what.    I’d like to see a process of selection Re QB that didn’t include Bryce in whatever considerations get considered. What would we do without him murking up the waters.
    • It seems so simple.
