They will be doing an in depth analysis of the Signal Callers in the NFC South. It's not like they're gonna have anything new to say, but it's specifically about our division. I don't know about you guys, but I'm starving for ant kind of football related info.

Just wanted to give those of you who get NFL Network a heads up.

I'll try to give a good recap for those of you that do not have NFL network. I'll DVR it so that I can use direct quotes from the show.

They're doing a very very good documentary on the 2003 Panthers.... Goosebumps! I have them right now!

Kris Jenkins, mike Rucker, Brenson Buckner, Julius Peppers...

Ricky Manning was FUGGIN UNREAL!!!, Mike Minter...

Stephen Davis was disgusting!! DeShawn Foster was HUGE that year!

Moose, Ricky Proehl, Smitty...

Those were the days! The Cardiac Cats were born in 2003...

3 road OT victories that year! Kasay was CLUTCH!

Oh and if you count the EPIC double OT in StL then it makes 4! Smitty....

yeah I just watched it. In fact, I've watched the same film session probably 10-20 times. Haha.

We just had such a good season! The Foster run to seal the deal in Philly to go to the Superbowl was so epic. I remember freaking out when I watched that game.

I remember watching the the first tampa bay game early in the season. It is one of my favorite games ever. 2 blocked field goals, and a blocked extra point! So awesome.

The only thing I don't like about the "Cardiac Cats" is that the name came from basically getting a lead, letting the other team tie, and then going to overtime or a last second score. Yeah we won, but I would rather we don't have a nickname that insinuates that we can't blow a team out of the water. But that is whatever.

2003 was awesome, lets get it together for another memorable season!

In FUGGIN believable!!!! They talked about everybody in the NFC South except for Carolina... No mention whatsoever. Just that we drafted Cam Newton... Really??

Please please please Panthers... Smack every opponent in the FUGGIN mouth next year... And then don't do ANY interviews with any media outlet outside of Charlotte!

Edit: I thought for sure that we were about to get snubbed... But I was like, there's no way... They have to say something about us after the commercial... So I waited... Guess what, I'm still FUGGIN waiting!!!!! Unreal the disrespect we are getting.

Yea I was kinda heated myself I can't believe they just passed on us like that, I hope we have a season just like Miami after they went 1-15. They came back the next year and went 11-5 if we can pull that off watch how much they back track on everything they said. It will go from them saying they have a lot of wholes to fill to oh all they really needed was a QB and we all knew Cam was going to be that guy to get them back on track!

    • I knew he was hedging for a raise.
    • I definitely respect your opinion more than Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, and Carmelo Anthony (whom I just watched on their show, all saying NOBODY wants to get the Hornets in the post-season). You win.
    • For all the good feelings about Bryce Young, when you read between the lines, it's what DC says and doesn't say that makes us know that Bryce hasn't necessarily been the supercomputer that they thought he would be. This season, Bryce has to make a tangible progression on the field. "A big part of it is being able to operate at the line of scrimmage — not in the huddle — when we want to, and he’s certainly capable of that," Canales said about Young. "It’s not solely on him. It’s a group that’s pretty young. You have to trust all the guys to go up there, communicate verbally or nonverbally and execute what we’re doing. We’ve made huge strides in that regard. His ability to alter things based on what they’re giving you will give us another edge, which he’s continued to grow and had some great examples down the stretch where he identified things they were doing, got us to the right check and capitalized on some plays. Want to see him do that more when it’s appropriate. We don’t need to be changing things just to change it." The implications, perhaps insinuations, are pretty evident. Bryce is just going to have to do better. "And then for Bryce, it’s the identification of early on the cues that the defense are giving us, to be able to eliminate parts of your progression before the ball’s even snapped. That happens with time. I’ve seen quarterbacks really own and master, which allows them to play lightning fast." Obviously Bryce isn't necessarily picking things up as fast as Canales would like, and I can only assume that Canales is making comparisons to Russell Wilson, Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield. But, of course, not everyone picks things up at the same rate. Bryce's pace has left Canales wanting for more. During the coming season, I don't believe that it will be good enough for Bryce to start putting things together in December, evidence of the light switch being on is going to have to show itself in September. Basically, it's really the moment that we've all been waiting for, the one that we thought should've happened earlier, the one that brings Bryce's accountability in the spotlight. On an off note, perhaps to that end, we should consider the possible implications upon the draft, but that's another story. Basically, it's time for Bryce to sh¡t or get off the pot. https://roundtable.io/sports/nfl/panthers/news/carolina-panthers-dave-canales-holds-nothing-back-on-bryce-young-in-new-interview
