Not Guilty

Did you watch the whole trial? did you get to see all the evidence they put up on all the jurors screens?

Seems like a lot of opinion and judgment coming from someone not even in the same state.

I'm sure you examined all of the evidence very closely

I think she's guilty. You don't. We each have our opinions and one of us is wrong.

It'll have no real effect on my life either way, but I think it's a travesty. Again, feel free to think differently. I honestly don't care, though I do find it amusing that the folks who are taking people to task for expressing outrage are expressing their own outrage over other people's outrage.

You ask "Why do you care about something that has no effect on you?"

I ask " Why do you care that I care?"

I'm not sure why this is so hard to understand. You are innocent until a burden of proof proves that you are guilty by a jury of your peers. You have to prove someone is guilty which is why the burden of proof falls to the prosecution not the defense.

Until that burden is crossed you are presumed innocent. Therefore you can't find someone who is already innocent, innocent. But not guilty proves that you are not guilty of your charges and therefore still considered innocent.

And it isn't trolling I have been following the case on HLN as well and wasn't surprised at all with the verdict.

The problem is that many of us watched on HLN which was covering the trial with the tag line "Justice for Caylee" which itself is presumptuous of guilt for Casey Anthony.

The media tried to convict her before she was actually convicted so you guys are presuming her guilt and want the defense to prove their innocence.

Just because you guys presume her guilt doesn't make it so. The fact is that the jury did not deliberate very long and was unanimous in their verdict.

Sucks her killer will never be brought to justice.

Sucks no one will ever know the truth about what happened.

Sucks to deal with the death of your granddaughter, your innocent beautiful 2 year old granddaughter, along with the fact that she is stuffed into a trunk, duct taped over the mouth, shoved into a trash bag, and dumped into a swamp to decompose.

the victim is always the one who suffers in the end and the most disturbing part is no one will ever know.

Kinda like the jury for this guy...

(though the "party" aspect of her behavior brings to mind Robert Chambers more so than OJ)

This I wholeheartedly agree with :grouphug:
