For those who have Dish Network.

First off side story ..

My cable has always been basic , been a customer of Mediacom for 6 years until my mom moved out earlier this year because shes getting married and I can pay for the house just fine.

Anyhow for basic cable they now wanna charge me 169.95 ...

To note I used to work for DirecTV and I know how they conduct their business so fug them.

What is the best package for Dish Network?

I watch the history channel / locals / comedy central/ LOVE G4 but mediacom doesn't offer it / ESPN ,2,and U / Nick/CN / Fox sports

I know I could just google packages but I kinda wanna get a good feel about how various people are treated by them and what they pay after certain periods etc.

Never heard good things about DN.

I hear that from some people , but I have personally been forced by my supervisor at some points while working there .. to straight fug over a customer and charge them more than they should pay. I rem there is a package there I think Choice that starts 29.99 and has not crap to watch and in a year jumps to like 69.99

Also to note I have my internet with Mediacom also , so if you know a good internet service I should try .. let me know that as well.

I'd rather pay 69 and have my tvs work then have dish and have problems with my signal 24/7

over a year with the 120 plus, some HD channels. It has most of what you listed beside maybe G4. after taxes like 50 a month. I had more channels but downgraded after some of the intro stuff went off discount. Customer Service has always been good, signal sucks as compared to directv(so the huddle tells me). I have a 2 year contract so we'll see what the prices is after that.

They are robbing you at 170 unless you get 100 channels of HD porn and ALL sports networks...

Well my mom managed the account until recently this is my first month looking at the bill and she used to always bitch about the bill and I never knew why. I'm being charged 45 for the DSL / 30 for the phone and 169 for 85 channels I get maybe 20 of which I glance at.

Ill be dropping the phone as I have a cell , but the TV and Internet I wanna bundle ... My internet now is capable of downloading files as fast as 2.5 MB a second .. so anything with .5 mb of that is cool with me.

No longer offer G4 last I saw .. was working for them when the contract expired and it was listed in the program I had to use they were not interested in renewing.

If you get dish network through ACN you can get a basic package with all cable channels and hd for 24.95, only reason i dont have is b/c my apartment wont let me. and i get free cable from twc

only if it rains everyday where you live..but yeah signal loss is fuging annoying. Luckily I dont watch a shatton of tv.
