Honestly, if we haven't already contacted some of our FA's and got deals ready to go we are flat out fuging doing it wrong this time around.

They have to be close to having a deal in place with CJ I would imagine. He has seemed to express interest in staying here and will be one of the most sought after FAs available. To not have a deal offered right when we are allowed to would be stupid.

Remember last season when Foxy was making calls to free agents just after they were already signed? lol idiot.

Coaches too.

I think it was the Buffalo ST coach that is so highly reguarded.

Panthers called like a week after he had a deal.

What same thing ?

I was going off ESPN's graphic.

GImme a link and I will fix.

Trades can be made and rookies signed starting tomorrow. Free agents cannot be signed until 6 pm Friday. All FA's on same time line, no exclusive window for own FA's

Per jay glazers twitter

The doors could open as soon as Monday, with clubs allowed to sign draftees and rookie free agents Tuesday. Free agency would begin Friday at 6 p.m. ET, though clubs could begin to speak with free agents starting Tuesday.

In all reality Kurb this is all speculation and you will probably change your OP once things are announced.

Thats the plan.

    • Also, just for clarity, is this thread meant for general discussion of Bryce Young, or discussion of General Bryce Young?
    • The word I feel most comfortable using as a descriptor is "inconsistent". Haven't really seen anyone disagree with that. Consistency being one of the things I value most in a player, that makes me lean toward moving on. But he does still have both time and opportunity to prove otherwise. Mind you, having a streaky quarterback isn't exactly a new thing in Charlotte (you could argue it's been the norm). Delhomme was notorious for starting slow but finishing strong. He could sadly also find hos way into ruts that were difficult to crawl out of. Newton, on the other hand, was often known to start hot but fade late (the vast majority of the 2015 season followed that pattern) though it could be argued that was a team pattern as much as it was Cam's.  There are definitely some fans for whom this is always going to be a bridge too far. (or too short) Realistically, it's not impossible that he could still have a good career even with those issues. It's a damn sight more difficult, though. And arguably, less likely.
    • Oh, I did, and they weren't based in emotions either. Granted, characterizing them that way gives you an easy out to avoid responding to them. Similar tactic to dismissing the other guy's points with "nah, you didn't really watch the games" which saves you having to debate what he said. Strikes me as a kinda lazy way to go, but hey both elements are still back there if you feel up to trying later.
