Well I believe you are in the minority then. I think many people had a favorite team growing up then when they decided to put a team in your city, people decided that was going to be their favorite team.

I'm a fan of football first, then a team, then a bunch of players (many of them non panthers).

Yep. I was one of those "kids" you'd ask who was your favorite NFL and I reply "I don't have one. I go for whoever the cowgirls(always hated them) are playing against." I was raised a Tarheel fan so I watched more college ball back then than the NFL. I did watch the Giants because of the former Tarheel LT, but they were never my favorite team. Also liked the Bills going against the cowboys.

not as much of an impact than dropping the ball when the organization pretty much handed it to you and looking like a rookie in your 4th year did though. Matt you got an opportunity most UDFA QBs would never even sniff and you blew it, plain and simple
